| In vitro | NSC126188 inhibits proliferation in human prostate cancer cells PC-3 at concentrations of 1-10 μM for 1-12 hours, with a GI 50 value of 0.7 μM, and induces apoptosis. Additionally, at 5 μM for 1 hour, NSC126188 significantly reduces phosphorylation of Akt at S473 and T308 in PC-3 cells. When applied at 5 μM for 30 minutes, it completely blocks insulin-induced translocation of Akt to the cell membrane in GFP-Akt transfected PC-3 cells. Furthermore, NSC126188 at 5 μM for 3-9 hours induces dephosphorylation of FoxO3a and upregulates RhoB expression in PC-3 cells. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
