In vitro
Nrf2 activator-21 (Compound 7I) significantly enhances the survival rate of hippocampal neuronal cells exposed to H2O2 at concentrations of 1-15 μM over 24 hours. Additionally, Nrf2 activator-21 at 2.5 μM for 24 hours reduces apoptosis in hippocampal neurons and decreases caspase-3 activity.
In vivo
Compound 7I (Nrf2 activator-21) administered at 15 mg/kg via a single intraperitoneal injection 15 minutes post-reperfusion significantly improves neurological function in adult male Wistar rats subjected to 2-vessel occlusion (2VO)-induced cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
