Methacrylated Type I collagen (Col1MA) is a methacrylate-modified scaffold material used in tissue engineering, retaining the fundamental properties of natural collagen. In the presence of photoinitiator LAP, it self-assembles into a fibrous hydrogel, targeting bioactive adhesion sites to inherently support tissue cells and offer biodegradability. Applications include cell culture, bio 3D printing, and tissue engineering.
