In vitro
MAO-B-IN-22 (compound 6h) demonstrated dose-dependent protection against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative damage, enhancing cell viability at concentrations of 2.5 to 50 μM over 24 hours [1]. At lower concentrations of 0.5 to 10 μM, it reduced LPS-induced NO production in a dose-dependent manner, indicating anti-neuroinflammatory activity [1].
In vivo
MAO-B-IN-22 (compound 6h) (53.5 mg/kg, administered via oral gavage once daily for three weeks) can alleviate motor impairments in mice by inhibiting MAO-B, increasing dopaminergic neurotransmitter levels, and reducing oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS), potentially mitigating motor dysfunction induced by MPTP and improving symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) in vivo [1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
