This compound demonstrates notable anti-proliferative properties against tumor cells, as well as significant in vivo antitumor efficacy, which can elicit antitumor immunity [1].
In vitro
HDAC-IN-32 (compound 9k) enhances Ac-HH3 and Ac-tubulin expression in tumor cells and triggers apoptosis through caspase-3 cleavage. It also decreases SSRP1 and SPT16 levels, causing chromatin damage. Moreover, HDAC-IN-32 outperforms SAHA in inhibiting tumor migration by reducing MMP-2 expression, crucial for tumor mobility [1].
