Description | GRP-60367 hydrochloride is a novel small-molecule entry inhibitor of rabies virus (RABV), exhibiting nanomolar potency against select RABV strains. This first-in-class compound effectively targets the RABV G protein [1]. |
In vitro | GRP-60367, ranging in concentration from 0.1 nM to 1000 μM, demonstrates specific and potent activity against RABV, achieving EC50 values between 2 and 52 nM across different host cell lines (BEAS-2B, 293T, Hep-2) in dose-response assays. The cell viability assays, conducted over 48 hours with concentrations from 0.1 nM to 1000 μM, yielded EC50s of 2 nM, 3 nM, and 52 nM for the RABV-ΔG-nanoLuc virus in BEAS-2B, 293T, and Hep-2 cell lines, respectively. |
