Description

Additionally, Docosapentaenoic acid 22n-3 sodium enhances cell viability and has mild anti-inflammatory effects.
In vitro
Docosapentaenoic acid 22n-3 sodium (50-100 μM; 24 h) enhances the viability of bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs). This compound exhibits inhibitory activity against α-amylase and α-glucosidase with IC50 values of 17 μg/mL and 22 μg/mL, respectively. However, its anti-inflammatory effect at 16 μg/mL is weaker than that of Phenylalanine.
