| Description | DHTP is a selective allosteric inhibitor that suppresses the ATPase activity and microtubule depolymerization activity of kinesin-13. It exhibits inhibitory effects on Kif2a and MCAK with IC50 values of 1.2 μM and 4.6 μM, respectively, while not affecting other kinesin family members. DHTP modulates intracellular microtubule dynamics, resulting in reduced microtubule dynamism. This compound connects the overexpression of kinesin-13 with cancer and Paclitaxel resistance, making it a valuable tool for cancer research. |

| In vitro | DHTP (0.01-100 μM) selectively inhibits the ATPase activity of kinesin-13, with IC50 values of 4.6 μM for MCAK and 1.2 μM for Kif2a. At concentrations of 5 μM, 10 μM, and 20 μM, DHTP selectively reduces the rate of microtubule depolymerization induced by MCAK, decreasing it by 74% at 5 μM and by 89% at 10 μM, without affecting Eg5-driven sliding. Additionally, DHTP (10 μM; applied for 15-20 minutes) can modulate microtubule dynamics in Drosophila S2 cells, extending pause duration and promoting persistent growth. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
