Description	CP-96486 is a potent and orally active antagonist of leukotriene D4 (LTD4) and platelet activating factor (PAF) receptors, with inhibitory constants (Kis) of 20 and 24 nM, respectively.
Targets&IC50	LTD4:20 nM (ki), PAF receptor:24 nM (ki)
In vitro	CP-96486 antagonizes 3H-LTD4 binding to guinea pig lung membranes and 3H-PAF binding to rabbit platelets (Kis: 20 and 24 nM).
In vivo	In guinea pigs, CP-96486 inhibits iv LTD4- and iv PAF-induced bronchoconstriction (ED50s: 0.27 and 0.26 mg/kg p.o.).
