Cephalotaxine-ester-(R)-1-ethoxy-3-mercaptopropan-2-ol-Ph (3,4OMe) is an antileukemic agent that effectively inhibits protein synthesis by targeting ribosomes. This compound downregulates short-lived oncogenic proteins, including c-Myc and Mcl-1, by suppressing protein synthesis. It induces cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells and triggers apoptosis via the mitochondrial pathway. Cephalotaxine-ester-(R)-1-ethoxy-3-mercaptopropan-2-ol-Ph (3,4OMe) is applicable in leukemia research.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
