1. Solvent selection:

b. pH indicator: In the pH range of 4 to 5, Brilliant Blue FCF shows blue and can be used as an indicator for pH indication of buffers.
c. Staining experiments:
As a dye, Brilliant Blue FCF can be used to stain cell or tissue samples. The staining method is usually to mix the dye solution with the sample to be stained, incubate for a certain period of time at room temperature, and then detect the staining results by microscope or spectrophotometer.
