| In vitro | AQP3-IN-1 (compounds 3), at a concentration of 5 μM applied for 30 minutes, inhibits glycerol permeability in cells overexpressing AQP3 and in red blood cells, without affecting their water permeability [1]. Cell viability tests using MNT-1, A375, and HEK-293T cell lines at concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 10 μM over a 24-hour period showed no toxicity to MNT-1 and A375 cells, nor did it affect cell viability. Additionally, cell migration assays employing MNT-1 and A375 cells at a 5 μM concentration and incubation times of 0, 9, and 24 hours revealed inhibition of melanoma cell adhesion, proliferation, and migration [1]. |
