| Description | Apoptosisinducer 20 (12) induces cell apoptosis by causing G2/M cell cycle arrest and activating caspase-3/7 during the M-block phase. This compound is a novel indole sulfonamide with anti-proliferative effects against various cancer cells and shows promise for research into new antimitotic drugs. |
| In vitro | Apoptosis Inducer 20 effectively inhibits the growth of various cancer cell lines. The melanoma cell line MelMet5 is the most sensitive, closely followed by HeLa cells. At a concentration of 100 nM and after 24 hours of treatment, Apoptosis Inducer 20 induces cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and triggers apoptosis through the activation of caspase 3/7. |
