| In vitro | 8-Br-GTP selectively inhibits FtsZ polymerization without impacting tubulin polymerization. It exhibits two stable base orientations towards the sugar, namely anti and syn, with a marked preference for the syn conformation, constituting approximately 90% of its population [1][2]. |
