7-oxo-Mogroside V is a cucurbitane-type triterpenoid saponin isolated from Siraitia grosvenorii fruits. It inhibits TPA-induced activation of EBV-EA (Epstein–Barr virus early antigen) and shows weak inhibitory effects on the activation of the nitric oxide donor NOR 1, with potential applications in oncology research.

| In vitro | Methods: Raji cells were co-treated with 7-oxo-Mogroside V and TPA at different molar ratios to detect the activation of EBV-EA; Chang hepatocytes were treated with 350 nmol 7-oxo-Mogroside V to detect its inhibitory effect on NOR 1 activation. Results: 1 7-oxo-Mogroside V (10–1000 mol ratio/32 pmol TPA) could inhibit TPA-induced EBV-EA activation in Raji cells, with an IC₅₀ of 400 mol ratio/32 pmol TPA. 2 7-oxo-Mogroside V (350 nmol) only exhibited a weak inhibitory effect on the activation of NOR 1 in Chang hepatocytes, with an inhibition rate of 1.4 [1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
