Description
4-Methylanisole is an aromatic ether compound containing both a methoxy and a methyl group. 4-Methylanisole occurs naturally in the essential oils of plants such as star anise and fennel, as well as in various natural flavorings. 4-Methylanisole is used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates, active ingredients for pesticides, and flavorings for food and personal care products. 4-Methylanisole can also be used directly in fragrance formulations.
In vivo
Methods: To investigate the pharmacokinetics of a single dose of 4-methylanisole, adult male Wistar rats were administered a single oral dose of 4-methylanisole (16, 64, 250 mg/kg). Blood samples were collected at 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, and 20 hours post-administration for analysis.
Results: 4-Methylanisole was rapidly absorbed and reduced the weight of the spleen and thymus in adult rats. [1]

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
