Description | 1-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline is an inhibitor of phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase and can be used in biochemical experiments and drug synthesis. |
In vivo | Methods: STZ-induced diabetic mice were treated with 1-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline (15, 30, 45 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection) to study its effects on STZ-induced diabetic static mechanical allodynia. Results: The highest dose of 1-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline (45 mg/kg) induced a more significant reversal of DPN allodynia 30 minutes after administration. [1] |
