β-catenin-IN-9 is a β-catenin inhibitor that induces apoptosis, causes cell cycle arrest, and suppresses the migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of colorectal cancer cells. It inhibits the transcription of β-catenin and vimentin and significantly reduces β-catenin at the protein level. β-catenin-IN-9 is applicable for research in colorectal cancer.

| In vitro | β-catenin-IN-9 (compound 10d) exhibits potent cytotoxic activity against Colo-205 cells with an IC50 value of 0.55 μM. At a concentration of 0.55 μM for 48 hours, β-catenin-IN-9 significantly induces apoptosis, inhibits migration and invasion, and causes cell cycle arrest in colorectal cancer cells, leading to increased overall cell death and accumulation in the S phase. Additionally, it markedly reduces β-catenin protein levels while elevating vimentin protein levels. The compound also substantially suppresses the gene expression of β-catenin and vimentin and promotes the expression of E-cadherin. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
