Construction	A DNA sequence encoding the SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) Spike S1 (YP_009724390.1, with mutations HV69-70 deletion, Y144 deletion, N501Y, A570D, D614G, P681H) (Met1-Arg685) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The purified protein was biotinylated in vitro. The mutations were identified in the SARS-CoV-2 variant (known as 20B/501Y.V1, VOC 202012/01, or B.1.1.7 lineage) which emerged in the United Kindom.
