| In vivo | Valerena-4,7(11)-diene administered via inhalation (30, 300 µg/cage; inhalation method) effectively mitigates stress-induced behavioral alterations and significantly reduces corticosterone levels in the blood to 1.41 ng/mL. It also notably decreases the levels of 5-HT and DA in the brain, as well as the DA turnover rates in the hypothalamus and striatum. The animal model used for this study involved four-week-old male ddY mice. |
