Product Introduction

TAXUSIN AI Summary
TAXUSIN exhibits a wide range of bioactivities across various cell lines and assays. It has been evaluated for its inhibitory activity in P388 leukemia cells using CoMFA analysis, showing an IC50 value of 457088189.61 nM, indicating potential inhibitory effects on leukemia cell proliferation. Additionally, it shows antiproliferative activity against human HT1080 cells and mouse Colon 26-L5 cells with EC50 values of 61.4 µg/mL and 51.7 µg/mL, respectively, as determined by MTT assay. Moreover, TAXUSIN significantly reverses multidrug resistance in human 2780AD cells by increasing the accumulation of [3H]vincristine, with noted activity percentages of 106.0%, 228.0%, and 461.0% at concentrations of 0.1 µg/mL, 1 µg/mL, and 10 µg/mL respectively. Compared to verapamil, it maintains notable activity levels. TAXUSIN also displays inhibitory effects on various targets, including Influenza NS1 protein, general anesthetics, Nrf2, the malarial parasite plastid, TGF-β, Hepatitis C Virus, GLP-1 receptor inverse agonists, and human tyrosyl-DNA phosphodiesterase 1, with potencies ranging from 2511.9 nM to 29092.9 nM..

Description
TAXUSIN is a natural product of the yew tree and has certain anticancer and analgesic activities.
Targets&IC50
NO:22.1 μM
In vitro
METHODS: Taxusin and verapamil (0.1/1/10μg/mL) were used to determine the accumulation of vincristine (VCR) in multi-drug-resistant human ovarian cancer 2780AD cells.
RESULTS Taxusin's activity against VCR accumulation in multidrug-resistant tumor cells was approximately 1.5 times that of microverapamil. [1]
In vivo
METHODS: Taxusin was administered to mice at 30 mg/kg by intraperitoneal injection to treat the painful effect of abdominal contraction caused by p-benzoquinone. RESULTS Taxusin exhibited significant analgesic effects on abdominal contractions induced by p-benzoquinone.

In Vivo Formulation Calculator (Clear solution)

Please enter your animal experiment information in the following box and click Calculate to obtain the stock solution preparation method and in vivo formula preparation method:
TargetMol | Animal experiments For example, if the intended dosage is 10 mg/kg for animals weighing 20 g , with a dosing volume of 100 μL per animal, TargetMol | Animal experiments and a total of 10 animals are to be administered, using a formulation of TargetMol | reagent 10% DMSO+ 40% PEG300+ 5% Tween 80+ 45% Saline/PBS/ddH2O , the resulting working solution concentration would be 2 mg/mL.
Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSOTargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.

This example is provided solely to demonstrate the use of the In Vivo Formulation Calculator and does not constitute a recommended formulation for any specific compound. Please select an appropriate dissolution and formulation strategy based on your experimental model and route of administration.
