| Cell Research | Fat staining experiment a. Material preparation: Sudan II stain, 70% ethanol solution, tissue sections or cell smears containing fat to be tested, microscope, etc. b. Experimental steps: 1. Fix the tissue sections or cell smears with 70% ethanol solution for 5-10 minutes, and then dry naturally; 2. Add Sudan II stain to the sections or smears and stain for 10-15 minutes; 3. Rinse with 70% ethanol solution to remove excess stain, and then rinse with distilled water; 4. After drying, observe under a microscope, the fat is stained orange-red. The above information is based on published literature. Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
