Description
PknB-IN-1 (Compound 2) is an inhibitor of protein kinase B (PknB) with an IC50 of 14.4 μM, demonstrating anti-mycobacterial activity by effectively suppressing the growth of M. tuberculosis H37Rv strain, with an MIC of 6.2 μg/mL [1].
In vitro
PknB-IN-1, within a concentration range of 0-100 μM and over a 60-minute incubation period, effectively inhibits the activity of M. tuberculosis PknB, as demonstrated in a Cell Viability Assay. The assay, conducted on an M. tuberculosis cell line under the specified conditions, showed PknB inhibition with an IC50 value of 7.3 μM.
