| Description | Pim-1 kinase inhibitor 9 (compound 8b) is a specific inhibitor targeting Pim-1 kinase, with an IC50 value of 0.24 µM. It causes cell cycle arrest at the S phase in breast cancer T47D cells and exhibits antitumor activity. |
| Targets&IC50 | PIM1:0.24 μM, PIM2:10.53 μM |
| In vitro | Pim-1 kinase inhibitor 9 effectively suppresses the proliferation of breast cancer cells T47D, with IC50 values of 9.8 μM at 48 hours and 2.61 μM at 96 hours. It also inhibits the activity of Pim-1 kinase and Pim-2 kinase, with IC50 values of 0.24 μM for Pim-1 kinase and 10.53 μM for Pim-2 kinase. |
| In vivo | The growth of mouse Ehrlich solid tumors is inhibited by Pim-1 kinase inhibitors 9 (1 mg/kg, administered once a week for three weeks via intraperitoneal injection) through the enhancement of caspase-3 expression and the suppression of VEGF expression. |
