Mudanpioside E is a paeoniflorin-type monoterpenoid glycoside naturally found in plants of the Paeoniaceae family. Mudanpioside E is an orally active antiallergenic agent that inhibits IgE-mediated β-hexosaminidase release (IC₅₀ = 40.34 μM). Mudanpioside E can reverse the inhibitory effect of Xiao Qing Long Tang extract, a formulation containing Paeonia lactiflora root, on passive cutaneous anaphylaxis in mice, making it suitable for research on allergic diseases.

| In vitro | Methods: RBL-2H3 cells (IgE-sensitized) were preincubated with Mudanpioside E (10.0–100.0 μM) for 30 min, followed by incubation with DNP-BSA for 1 h, after which the inhibition rate of β-hexosaminidase release was measured; cell viability was assessed using the CCK-8 assay. Results: Mudanpioside E significantly inhibited IgE-mediated β-glucosaminidase release (a marker of degranulation), with an IC₅₀ of 40.34 μM, and exhibited no cytotoxicity even at concentrations as high as 100.0 μM. Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
