| Description | Glutamate-5-kinase-IN-1 (compound 50) is a potent G5K inhibitor that modifies the ATP binding site architecture for enzyme recognition (MIC = 4.1 μM) and has potential for anti-TB research [1]. |
| In vitro | Glutamate-5-kinase-IN-1 (compound 50) at 40 μM effectively inhibits G5K activity, with an IC50 of 22.1 μM under 10 mM L-Glu and ATP conditions. At 5, 10, and 20 μM, it shows negligible cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells. At 120 μM, it significantly increases the Km(app) for ATP, with constant L-Glu (150 mM, 300 mM, 600 mM) and ATP (10 mM) concentrations. |
