| In vivo | Fobrepodacin administered through oral gavage at doses of 10, 30, and 100 mg/kg once daily, five days a week for four weeks, significantly reduces the mycobacterial burden in a model of chronic tuberculosis infection in six-week-old female BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice, both uninfected and infected with M. tuberculosis (Erdman). Additionally, a regimen of 100 mg/kg once daily for eight weeks enhances the bactericidal efficacy of antimycobacterial drugs in these models[1]. |

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
