BODIPY TR Methyltetrazine is a red fluorescent probe composed of a BODIPY TR fluorescent core and a methyltetrazine functional group. It reacts rapidly and specifically with trans-cyclooctene (TCO)-modified molecules via inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) click chemistry for efficient covalent conjugation. Its fluorescence is suitable for multichannel imaging, and the highly selective methyltetrazine reaction minimizes interference with biomolecular functions. This dye is widely used in live-cell imaging, protein labeling, nanomaterial tracking, and studies of molecular interactions.
