It has anticancer activity and can be used to study esophageal cancer.
In vitro
Bintrafusp alfa is capable of providing sustained protective immunity, reducing the function of regulatory T cells, significantly increasing the infiltration of CD8+ T cells and natural killer cells, while also decreasing the infiltration of bone marrow-derived suppressor cells within the tumor. [1]
