| In vitro | Antiproliferative agent-18 (Compound 5k) demonstrated moderate antibacterial activity (inhibition zones of 14-17 mm) at 200 µg/8 mm disc over 24 h against bacteria and 48 h for fungi, with similar moderate activity against Candida albicans (inhibition zone of 17 mm) [1]. Additionally, it exhibited antiproliferative effects on human cancer cell lines including prostate (PC-3), colorectal (HCT-116), hepatocellular (HepG-2), epidermoid cervical (HeLa), and breast (MCF-7) at concentrations of 0.1-100 μM over 48 hours [1]. Antiproliferative agent-18 also occupied the active site of the SIRT1 enzyme, replacing the NAD cofactor and the histone deacetylase inhibitor EX527 [1]. |

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
