| Description | Antibacterial Agent 42 demonstrates potent antibacterial activity by effectively reducing the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of the broad-spectrum antibacterial agent Ceftazidime. |
| In vitro | Antibacterial agent 42, as highlighted in example 5, substantially reduces the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) values for Ceftazidime across various E. coli strains: NCTC 13351 (MIC=0.5 mcg/ml), M50 (MIC=1 mcg/ml), and 7MP (MIC=2 mcg/ml), demonstrating its efficacy in enhancing the antibiotic's effectiveness against these bacteria [1]. This information is derived from WO2013030735A1, example 5. |
