Overlay Peak curve showing Hela cells stained with TMAH-00020 (red line) at 1:100. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and permeated by 0.2% TritonX-100. Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1ug/1*10^6 cells) for 45min at 4°C. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated Goat Antimouse IgG(H+L) at 1:200 dilution for 35min at 4°C.Control antibody (green line) was mouse IgG (1ug/1*10^6 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed. |

| Research Background | Actin is a highly conserved protein that polymerizes to produce filaments that form cross-linked networks in the cytoplasm of cells. Actin exists in both monomeric (G-actin) and polymeric (F-actin) forms, both forms playing key functions, such as cell motility and contraction. In addition to their role in the cytoplasmic cytoskeleton, G- and F-actin also localize in the nucleus, and regulate gene transcription and motility and repair of damaged DNA. |
