| In vitro | ABT-046 did not significantly inhibit human DGAT-2, but prevented human DGAT-1 from catalyzing triglyceride production in HeLa cells, with an IC50 of 78 nM.[1] In Caco-2 cells, ABT-046 exhibited high in vitro permeability and no active efflux was detected (efflux ratios of 1.4 and 1.1 at 0.5 and 5 μM, respectively).[1] ABT-046 was also found to inhibit human DGAT-2, but prevented human DGAT-1 from catalyzing triglyceride production in HeLa cells with an IC50 of 78 nM. [1] The metabolic conversion of ABT-046 to mouse and human liver microsomes is extremely low and almost negligible. [1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
