| Bioactivity | Immobilized Biotinylated Human CDH17 Domain 5-7, His Tag at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) on the streptavidin precoated plate (5 μg/mL). Dose response curve for Anti-CDH17 Domain 5-7 Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 10.2 ng/mL determined by ELISA (QC Test) |
| Description | Liver-intestine cadherin (CDH17) has been known to function as a tumor stimulator and diagnostic marker for almost two decades. In vivo studies showed CDH17 knockout resulted in apoptotic PC tumor death through activating caspase-3 activity. Taken together, CDH17 functions as an oncogenic molecule critical to PC growth by regulating tumor apoptosis signaling pathways and CDH17 could be targeted to develop an anti-PC therapeutic approach. CDH17 Domain 5-7 Protein (Primary Amine Labeling), Human, Recombinant (His), Biotinylated is expressed in HEK293 mammalian cells with C-His tag. The predicted molecular weight is 36.79 kDa and the accession number is Q12864. |
| Species | Human |
| Expression System | HEK293 Cells |
| Tag | C-His |
| Accession Number | Q12864 |
| Construction | Glu450-Gly777 |
| Protein Purity | > 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE |
| Endotoxin | < 1.0 EU/μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method. |
| Formulation | Lyophilized from a solution filtered through a 0.22 μm filter, containing PBS (pH 7.4). Typically, 8% trehalose is incorporated as a protective agent before lyophilization. |
| Reconstitution | Reconstitute the lyophilized protein in distilled water. The product concentration should not be less than 100 μg/ml. Before opening, centrifuge the tube to collect powder at the bottom. After adding the reconstitution buffer, avoid vortexing or pipetting for mixing. |

| Molecular Weight | 36.79 kDa (predicted). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-70 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. |
| Shipping | In general, lyophilized powders are shipped with blue ice, while solutions are shipped with dry ice. |
| Storage | It is recommended to store recombinant proteins at -20°C to -80°C for future use. Lyophilized powders can be stably stored for over 12 months, while liquid products can be stored for 6-12 months at -80°C. For reconstituted protein solutions, the solution can be stored at -20°C to -80°C for at least 3 months. Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles and store products in aliquots. |
