Odesivimab (REGN-3471) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the Ebola virus glycoprotein (GP). Odesivimab binds to the FcγRIIIa receptor on the surface of immune effector cells via its Fc region, inducing antibody-dependent cellular immunity (ADCI) to eliminate infected cells or viral particles, thereby exerting an antiviral effect. Odesivimab has a Kd value of 7.74 nM for the extracellular domain of the Ebola virus glycoprotein from the recombinant Makona strain.

Description
Odesivimab (REGN-3471) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the Ebola virus glycoprotein (GP). Odesivimab binds to the FcγRIIIa receptor on the surface of immune effector cells via its Fc region, inducing antibody-dependent cellular immunity (ADCI) to eliminate infected cells or viral particles, thereby exerting an antiviral effect. In vitro
Odesivimab, Atoltivimab and Maftivimab can be combined to form REGN-EB3 with an IC50 value of 0.39 nM, which can be used for Ebola virus research. Odesivimab showed specific binding to soluble viral glycoprotein. [1]
In vivo
Odesivimab with Atoltivimab and Maftivimab (REGN-3471, 50 mg/kg) were protective against Ebola virus infected rhesus monkey models. [1]
