Norharmane-13C (Norharman-13C) is the 13C-labeled version of Norharmane. Norharmane (Norharman) is a β-carboline alkaloid and acts as a potent reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (MAO), with IC50 values of 6.5 μM for MAO-A and 4.7 μM for MAO-B. It induces antidepressant effects and serves as a promising anticancer photosensitizer. Additionally, Norharmane significantly inhibits the growth of Arabidopsis seedlings by altering polar auxin transport through the inhibition of PIN2, PIN3, and PIN7 transport proteins.

Stock Solution Preparation:

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
