mPEG-amine (MW 350) can be used to synthesize folate-conjugated polymeric micelles for encapsulating the anticancer agent 9-nitrocamptothecin . These folate-conjugated polymeric micelles serve as efficient carriers for poorly soluble anticancer drugs, evading macrophages and utilizing folate receptor (FR)-mediated endocytosis to target tumor cells.
