| In vitro | Mab Aspartate Decarboxylase-IN-1 (compound analogue 2) effectively inhibits Mab PanDE119A, Mab PanDS135A, and Mab PanDY126A mutants with rates of 70.5%, 74.4%, and 81.8%, respectively [1]. At 0-200 μM, it inhibits the Mycobacterium abscessus (Mab) PanD enzyme, converting l-Aspartate to β-Alanine, with an IC50 of 56.3±4.8 μM [1]. At 0-4 mM concentrations, it exhibits antibacterial activity against various M. abscessus subspecies, specifically an IC50 of 0.7 mM for M. abscessus subsp. abscessus ATCC 19977, and IC50 values of 1-2 mM for M. abscessus subsp. bolletii CCUG 50184T, M. abscessus subsp. massiliense CCUG 48898T, M. abscessus subsp. abscessus Bamboo, and M. abscessus subsp. abscessus ATCC 19977 [1]. The compound’s interaction with the target enzyme is primarily through electrostatic and hydrogen bonding [1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
