Description | Laurolitsine hydrochloride, an alkaloid extracted from Phoebe formosana, exhibits weak anti-inflammatory properties. |
In vitro | Laurolitsine exhibits modest anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW 267.4 and BV-2 cells [1]. Concurrently, laurolitsine, along with boldine and litebamine at a concentration of 300 μM, significantly suppresses rabbit platelet aggregation triggered by arachidonic acid (100 μM) and collagen (10 μM/mL), while exhibiting a minor inhibition of aggregation induced by ADP (20 μM) [2]. |
