| In vitro | JNJ-2901, at concentrations ranging from 0.005 µM to 5 mM over 5 days, inhibits the growth of M. tuberculosis H37Rv-ΔcydAB in 7H9 medium, with an MIC of 2.5 nM. It also suppresses the oxygen consumption of wild-type M. smegmatis (IC 50: 89 nM) and the cytochrome bd knockout strain (ΔcydAB) (IC 50: 60 nM), while showing no significant effect on the cytochrome bc knockout strain (ΔqcrCAB). Additionally, JNJ-2901 inhibits oxygen consumption in M. smegmatis with Mtb-like cytochrome bc (IC 50: 17.4 nM). |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
