| In vivo | FFN246, at concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 20 μM and a 30-minute incubation, can be employed for direct detection of serotonin transporter (SERT) activity and SERT inhibitors in 96-well plate cell culture assays. It can also specifically label serotonergic neurons in the dorsal raphe nucleus within acute mouse brain slices [1]. Additionally, FFN246 at 20 μM for 30 minutes effectively traces serotonin uptake and packaging in the somata of serotonergic neurons [1]. |
