| In vivo | In preclinical studies using mice bearing KB tumor xenografts, liposomal formulations containing functionalized DSPE derivatives were evaluated. Following intravenous (i.v.) administration, the targeted liposomes exhibited increased accumulation in tumor tissues. The treatment was associated with a reduction in tumor growth rates and an increase in survival time in the animal models [1]. |
