The lipophilic tail can encapsulate hydrophobic therapeutic agents, while the hydrophilic head can encapsulate hydrophilic drugs/nutrients, including antibodies and mRNA/DNA. The iodoacetyl group reacts with thiols to form thioether bonds. Reagent grade, for research use only.
