| In vitro | CYP51-IN-32 (Compound 3j) effectively inhibits the growth of Candida albicans with a MIC of 4.68 μg/mL. The antifungal activity against Candida albicans decreases when H2S is eradicated by 1.5 mg/mL MgO, resulting in a raised MIC of 32 μg/mL. This compound significantly hampers the hyphal formation of Candida albicans, maintaining it in a unicellular yeast form. At a concentration of 0.0005 mg/mL, CYP51-IN-32 reduces Candida albicans biofilm formation by 60%. Additionally, the IC50 for CYP51-IN-32 against WS-1 human skin fibroblasts is 65.73 μg/mL, giving a selectivity index of approximately 14.0 relative to its antifungal MIC against Candida albicans. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 µL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
