| In vitro | Croomine (compound 2) is a naturally occurring stenine-type alkaloid isolated from Stemona tuberosa. It was obtained with a total isolation yield of 840 mg. The compound exhibits a retention time of 9.26 minutes in HPLC-ELSD analysis and has fully assigned NMR spectral data in deuterated pyridine solvent. The isolation involved using 95% ethanol, 4% HCl, 35% NH₃ aqueous solution, and a hexane:ethyl acetate mixture (1:1), with ethanol reflux for 2 hours, repeated twice. |

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH2O and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
