Azide-PEG2-Desthiobiotin is a PEG derivative composed of desthiobiotin, two PEG units, and an azide group (azide). Biotin forms a stable non-covalent bond with streptavidin (Streptavidin). The azide group can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules.
