AZD8359

AZD8359 is a T-cell engager (TCE) that targets STEAP2. AZD8359 selectively recruits and activates CD8+ T cells, mediating the killing of STEAP2-positive tumor cells by T cells. AZD8359 is intended for use in oncology research.

AZD8359 induces a 40% reduction in cytokine release compared to conventional T-cell adaptors and increases the maximum level of CD8⁺ T-cell activation in vitro by a factor of 4.[1]

In immunohumanized mice and in STEAP2-positive 22Rv1 subcutaneous and C4-2 intra-tibial xenograft models, AZD8359 induced tumor regression and reduced systemic cytokine release by more than 10-fold while maintaining equivalent efficacy.[1]
