In vivo
Method: Anti-Mouse Galectin-9 Antibody (RG9-1) was administered intraperitoneally at 0.2 mg three times weekly for 8 weeks in corneal-transplanted BALB/c mice, at 100 μg every 3 days for three doses in MC-38 or EMT-6 tumor-bearing mice, or at 6 mg/kg three times weekly for 7 weeks in leukemic C57BL/6 mice.
Result: RG9-1 shortened corneal graft survival, enhanced antitumor efficacy when combined with GITR mAb, and delayed leukemia progression depending on the disease model[1].
