Description
(R)-(4′-Hydroxy)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-chromanone, an antiangiogenic homoisoflavonoid, exhibits activity against human retinal microvascular endothelial cells (HRMECs).
In vitro
(R)-(4′-Hydroxy)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-chromanone has a GI 50 value of 35.8 μM on the proliferation of human retinal microvascular endothelial cells (HRECs)[1]. (R)-(4′-Hydroxy)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-chromanone (10 μM, 30 μM, and 100 μM; 8 hours) significantly decreases HRECs overall tubule formation in a dose-dependent manner[1].
