Description
U3-1784 is a humanized antibody that targets CD334. U3-1784 exerts its antitumor activity by binding to FGFR4 with high affinity and selectivity, thereby blocking its interaction with ligands. U3-1784 can be used in research on liver cancer.
Targets & IC50
FGFR4:2 nmol/L
In vitro
U3-1784 showed excellent specificity for FGFR4 and did not bind to other FGFR with Kd =0.3 nmol/L and IC50 value of 2 nmol/L. [1]
In vivo
Methods: Ten liver cancer xenograft models (cell-derived/patient-derived) were established. U3-1784 (25 mg/kg) was administered intraperitoneally twice weekly to evaluate synergistic antitumor effects and monitor tumor volume and mouse body weight.
Results: U3-1784 was effective only in FGF19-positive liver cancer models, with a maximum tumor suppression rate of 90%. [1]
Methods: Rhesus monkeys were administered intravenous injections of U3-1784 (100 mg/kg, once every 7 days, for a total of 3 doses), and serum bile acid and liver enzyme (ALT/AST) levels were measured.
Results: U3-1784 elevated bile acid and liver enzyme levels, inducing liver damage.[1]
